Blackett Hart & Pratt LLP by name, was established in 1993. The firm however has historic roots dating back to the early 1800's in Darlington. LJ Heron & Co were established in shortly after the end of the second world war. Following the retirement of Mr Heron the firm changed its name to Burt Hart & Pratt in 1978. Most recently the firm has also merged with Adamsons/JW Mitchell Dodds Solicitors based in Tyne & Wear. Since 1992, he has worked in financial management, Financial Director and CFO positions in manufacturing industry across North East England, beginning at Black & Decker, and then covering time at Wellstream (oil & gas pipelines), Freudenberg (automotive component supply) and Edward Thompson (printing for the gaming / leisure sector).
